Please supply a list of acceptable "American names" and we'll be sure that all candidates will change their names to suit your peculiar point of view.

No Running Wolf and Sitting Bull are American names. Giuliani on the other hand is Italian in origin.

Donna, you beat me to it. But I believe Running Bull is another name for George W Bush.

The only American names were made up in Ellis Island.
Please be kindly, you're bordering on troll right now. This isn't the place for a political shot. I'm not going to vote for him or "it" as you call him, but that's no reason to be deliberately unkind.
Even the Native American names are still anglicized versions that are essentially British.

What do you call American ?
Jones, Smith, Brown, or what ?
Those we can say that they are British names.

Or perhaps then Crazy Horse, Sitting Bull, Red Hand or Black Feet ? They would be very appropriate indeed.
No Native american has ever been president, at least not that I know of.
By the way, Sitting Bull's real name was Totanka Yotanka

So, what do you consider to be and "American" name?

List a few.

There are NO surnames that originated in our country except for Native Americans who use their birth names.

You ALL came from someplace else....or your ancestors did.

And, while I wouldn't vote for Mr. Giuliani, it is because of his politics, not the fact that his roots go back to Italy.

Your an a@@!

Speaking of American names, what is an American name besides Navajo, Sioux etc? Bush, Clinton and Obama aren't American names so why does it matter? If you're not going to vote for him, do it based on merit, or the lack of it.

Giuliani is an American but I wouldnt vote for him because of his support of abortion and gay marriage. However as an American he has every right to run for office.

You sound like an Anti-Italianite. I suppose you don't eat pasta or pizza either. If he gets the nomination, he will have my vote. He may not be a full conservative, but he is certainly better than any of the alternatives.
