Well, I still have the video of Bush's speech before invading where he accused Saddam of supporting and financing al-Quaeda and therefore responsible for a part in 9/11 and of course the WMD issue.
He further went on to call the future attack a "Crusade." Great choice of word to toss at the Islamic World, bound to get a jihad response.

Beyond its own boundries, I will say most Americans have next to no knowledge of the world. Also of note, Americans do not commonly own short wave radios to receive foreign news nor do even satellite stations receive foreign broadcasts. The exception is that satellite does have a 30 minute BBC once weekly, little more than a puppet of US now, once a reliable news source.

I think it's impossible for an average person to really know the truth. We can only make an assumption based on what is reported by the media and they are like weathermen, they can only guess. I am convinced of one thing. I think that if Saddam Hussein did have WMDs Bush gave him more than enough time to get them out of his country because I clearly recall Bush keep warning him " we are coming to look for WMDs". This went on for several months and I also recall seeing satelite surveillence of convoys of huge trucks rolling toward the border in the middle of the night leaving Iraq. DUH!! If you are going to catch your enemy in a compromising situation you strike first and ask questions later! War is not a game, peoples lives are at stake. As commander in chief you are responsible for doing whatever it takes to win and save the lives of your military personnel, not show your hole card and put your troops in harms way. As far as who was responsible for 911, my gut tells me it was more than one person but without a doubt Osama Bin Laden was one of the prime masterminds behind it. He has even admitted that. I also feel that he is doomed to be captured but not by the Bush administration. Bush is too 'third grade' in everything he does. The terrorists are all laughing at him from around the world. He is a joke! and I'm not a Democrat either I'm an independent so it's not a political thing with me. I see a man for what he is (or isn't).

The reality is, whatever percentage you fall into, still want to believe some percentage of Americans believe this.
That Iraq was involved with 9-11 is a fabrication by the left to negate the justifications for the war.
Iraq wasn't involved with 9-11... we know it, we knew it..and that's not what it was about.
Yes, I will grant you some have heard the left repeat it enough times that they begin to believe somebody must have said it...and they attempt to defend that misrepresentation.

Where do you get your facts, I knew Saddam was not the mastermind of 9-11 but I supported the effort to bring him down since they did sponsor terrorism around the globe. It is a war on terror as the President announced days after 9-11 to Congress.

Bono. Are you the same one as the rock star? If so..you are dumber than most of the other stars. Yes, we have potential cures for all diseases. They have to be tested extensively. What do you think would happen if we released a cure for this and that and it proved to be a toxin and thousands of people died? who will you blame? You're a goofball.

I do not believe that. I believed that 9/11 was responsible by Al Qiada, and Hussien was executed by his own people for committing genocide against the Kurds and his own people.

Seeing all the negative remarks that all Republicans are stupid sheep, I cannot believe I am the only smart one in the bunch.

Well 50,999,897 Americans voted for Al Gore, and 2,882,995 voted for Ralph Nader; which is pretty much irrefutable proof that 53,882,892 voting age Americans are stupider than a mentally retarded hamster that is having an unusually difficult day.

No, YOU'RE the stupid one to think that Americans are believing that. Where do you get your 'information' that we think that? Outta your hind parts, most likely. Typical know nothing foreigner.

Yes, a good number still believe there were WMDs im Iraq too. Also, 24% or so still support Bush, and a good number believe the Sun revolves around the Earth - go ahead google it.

And to the idiot below me, how do you know it was Osama bin Laden? The media has done a nice job feeding bullshit to the masses. 9/11 was just a nice reason to execute plans that had already been made for Afghanistan and Iraq. I'm not kidding about this, read about some of this.

If you're implying that you wish Saddam was still alive, then you're that stupid.

If you're implying that things would be better if Al Gore had become president, then you're that stupid.

If you're wishing that we simply pull out, wait for the next 3,000-civilian death terrorist attack, and then get pissed, launch a crusade, and repeat the process again, then you're no better than Osama *****-Laden himself.
