Video lans vlc media player will play it.
An iso is ready to burn straight to disc which is why most players will not play it.Nero can produce you a vcd in 10 minutes instead of waiting a few hours to make a dvd.

I think if you look at it again, it will say 'image file', not picture. In this particular instance, it is entirely different.

What you have is an image file, not picture. You will need to use an application like Nero, or something and 'burn' the ISO file to a CD, or DVD. Then you will have a file that any video player will be able to play as long as it has the correct 'codec' installed.

The codec is a set of instructions that the computer uses to uncompress and interpret the information in the file that is being played.

Enjoy the movie

Maybe your ISO copy is bad and is missing the install/setup exe or maybe it's supposed to be a 2 (or more) CD or DVD installation. I use PowerISO and mount the ISO as a virtual drive and go from there. I've never had to burn the image to CD to get the software to run. Good luck

An ISO file is an image and has to be burned to disc as an image in your burning software, then the program will load direct from your cd/dvd drive.

ISO files are CD / DVD image files, that contain a description of what the disk should look like when duplicated.

To learn how to burn an ISO, read:

Then, if needed, try the free: ISO Recorder from:

ISOs are "image" files :)

Download and install Daemon Tools, free program that allows you to create virtual drives that act like dvd-roms, so when u load an image file onto a virtual drive, it should auto-play with your designated media player.
