I read the Intelligent Design and I'm in the same shoes as yourself.
God as we are taught to know him would have to be an extraterrestial. Extra-terra-estial (I think I spelled that right.) That literally means a being of or from somewhere other than earth. So that means God, Satan, Angels, and Demons are ET's too.
Heaven is described in the Bible, the Qu'ran, the Torah, etc. as being a world that has a physical state of being to itself. There's houses, roads, clothing, food, and assorted life-forms unknown to mankind. Does that not sound like another planet?
I believe Rael took what is common-sense in todays world and applied a form of authority beyond human grasp. Meaning, thousands of years ago wise men saw a path to a better world for mankind so they took their message and told others God said such and such. In Rael's case he chose Aliens because it's obvious in todays world that God is in some way or another an alien. Actually, Rael is not the first person to say God is an alien, neither is he the first to say one specific race is the "chosen one."
The God of the Bible and the Qu'ran experience anger, joy, wrath and emotions that are too similar to mankind. Emotions that an omnipotent, and omniscient being should be greater than to be affected by.
I don't believe in everything he says but agree with a lot of his teaching.

Okay, I spent the last hour looking over this 'stuff'. And yeah, some of it is enlightening, as to how the other side thinks.
God, The Creator, is the real Satin??? Can anyone seriously accept this? Judging by today's society, yeah, I guess so.
God as an Extra-terrestrial ... I have many times considered this as well.
We as human-kind are entering an age so unique, that a great many things are possible. Recently, we have 'created' new life, previously unknown to this world. Who can say what our full potential might be?
But know that we were created in His image. Not His physical image (if God has one) but in His spiritual image. We have souls! No other creature on this planet does!!! (While I would that some animals did have a soul --- Sasquatch, Dogs and Cats, for example).
Anyway, an interesting question which will not be solved here in one or two cases. Humankind has sought answers for as long as we have existed.
Me thinks keep looking but do not give up on The Creator, whomever you may think they might be.

In Raelianism, there is NO God. Aliens came and used DNA technology to create us. Hence, we are alien hybrids.
Though I'm not an atheist, I share many Raelian beliefs.

God is an extra-terrestrial, meaning not from this earth. God is not an alien from another planet. That is crap.
