You know what I've noticed? A lot of women who complain about deserving royal treatment, are the same ones who expect you to smack them clear across the house when the screw up.

If you cut through all the crap you'll find someone who needs emotional validation, not piles of junk. Give her credit for something she's actually done to impress you, and the annoying charade usually comes to a peaceful, abrupt end.

I want to be treated with kindness, compassion and respect. If that's considered queenly treatment, then so be it. Just call me Her Royal Highness.

Seriously, I am human and therefore fallible. I make mistakes. I want to be treated as an equal. I don't want to be put up on a pedestal. I'd never be able to live up to it. Nor would I want to.
