12?

it depends, it will at least rings 12 times however there might be a wedding , funeral , taking place and ni that case there will be more than 12 rings, much more , it is unknown with each wedding the number of rings is different because the boy that rings the bells also has bad days now you can imagine that if it is his sister that has her marriage in church or his dad the number of rings will vary so i dont think that you can say it rings 12 times at noon always and everywhere all i can say is that it varies and is at least 12 , unless the boy forget ofcourse.

It depends on the church. The one near me rings the Angelus at noon, also at 7am and 7pm.
So at noon that's twelve stokes for the time, then three sets of three stokes (another nine) then a peal lasting a minute or so, probably another sixty strokes - I've never counted them all.

18 times three threes and a nine. And at 18.00 and 6.00am Angelus [Lat.,=angel], daily prayer of the Roman Catholic Church, said usually three times daily, as announced by a bell, traditionally at six in the morning, at noon, and at six in the evening. It is said in honor of the Incarnation and consists of three repetitions of the Hail Mary together with verses and a prayer. It takes its name from the opening word of the Latin version: Angelus Domini nuntiavit Mariae [the angel of the Lord declared unto Mary].the same thing it's a Catholic bit of business it's called The Angelus.

Now you know.

12 is usual. In a town I used to live in the church chimes also played a short part of "Abide with me" -- true story.

Hmmm.... I haven't been close enough to a church to know. And I'm not not going to "google" it to find out.
