Could be a couple of reasons. Is the pump making noise? If not, check to see if you have electrical power getting to the pump. If you have power I would replace the pump.

If pump has power and making noise, check the fluid level and hoses. Look for leaks or pinched hoses. You can even try blow air backwards into the spray nozzle, they could be clogged.

These are all good answers but I have to agree with Doanne_nu. It could be something as simple as a blown fuse. Open up the fuse box (on top of the dash). and check the fuse. If you need a motor, Go to the junkyard for one. Still, I bet it's a fuse. I'm a two Previa owner and have experienced that before on the front wipers on one. The same situation should apply to the back. Also, for Previa questions might I recommend going to http://toyotavanpeople.com/ for your questions? They have a very good Previa section that is a must see for any Previa owner. Good luck

Broken wire. Blown fuse. Rusted motor due to leaks in the pump. It could easily be diagnosed by locating it, looking at it, and if it appears ok, use a multimeter to test it electrically.
