I agree with "George C" this is just a kid's rant, soldiers especially ones receiving incoming fire do not have time to stop and ask such a naive question as; "If there's a gunman in this village should I kill everybody I see or look for my enemy?"

Soldiers are trained to respond to enemy fire they are also trained to recognize an an enemy combatant.

One of the biggest problems in Vietnam and Iraq is the fact that the enemy are hiding amongst the civilian population, which makes the determining of the enemy vary difficult.

Also in Vietnam the V.C. had female members so you cannot assume every woman killed was an innocent female.

The poster also tends to attempt tar the Marine Corp in Vietnam and Iraq with the same brush, there were Army, Airforce and Naval units operating in both places.

If you want to make accusations and use said accusations for a sound argument then you will have to give specific cases in point, also the childish effort to allude that you (mccormack_thomas) were a member of the I Ran Aways (Ireland's biggest Drug dealing faction) fired shots at members of the British Army on service in Northern Ireland is very pathetic and the actions of a little child.

i'm a US Marine. I even have been there. Colateral injury is unavoidable. while i replaced into in one city a bus crammed with civilians got here driving at us. 4 adult males with AK's have been taking pictures out of the homestead windows. We blew the bus up killing the 4 adult males. regrettably, the civilians have been killed additionally. yet i'm no longer able to commerce my existence for a hand crammed with civilians that refuse to stand up against those 4 adult males. Terriorists use those strategies each and every of the time. they think of that we are going to commerce our lives for the hostages they have. each and every of the terriorists have achieved is get their own human beings killed. you're putting the blame on the incorrect human beings. possibly you're able to be blaming the folk who're beginning up the assaults.

Maybe a few individuals are but I doubt it. Certainly I doubt it as a collective organisation. I do think not that you were calling the USMC such names as this when they were supplying weapons and training to you and your band of terrorist friends, certainly if you had any pride or self-respect you would not make a statement inferring pride at having taken part in terrorist acts.
