College will only get you the ticket to middle class, not going to college will get you the ticket to working class. Neither of those is "rich".

Getting "rich" requires a whole different set of tools than comes in that college tool bag. It all depends on what you consider to be "rich" but if you mean a $100,000 a year salary as "rich", that's just middle class. "Rich" is the top percentiles and that's a lot of money and property. ☺

Anyone can get rich - only the more educated will stay that way.

A smart person can get rich with a good idea without even going through high school. High school and college are places of learning. You learn things from professors and students (rich, filfy rich and poor) that give you ideas and make things easier to figure out. It may take you 3 months researching how to market a new product whereas in college you have tons of people to ask about it who will show you were to look within hours.
Also it's about connections. The people you rub shoulders with might want to invest in your idea. I went to college for civil engineering and I'm doing my grad studies right now. I know I won't die a millionnaire unless I stop working for corporate america and start doing things my own way and have my own business in whatever field it is.

college may help but they only teach so that if a person learns on their own what they would get from college they have the knowledge even without the diploma and they can use that knowledge to become rich by many different means whether developing a new product, investing in real estate, or somehow providing something that enough people want that they make you rich paying for it.
