An abscess is painful. It involves infection in the gum, with a swelling. To prevent it happening, brush your teeth at least twice a day but maybe as many as 6 or 7 times gently if you eat or drink often.

Bread soda dissolved in water helps the pain and swelling for the moment.

An abscess is when your tooth is infected for some reason and the pressure of the pus causes a white pimple like bump to form. The pus will escape from this pimple sometimes but to really take care of it you need to see a dentist. You need to find out why the tooth is abscessed.

an absess is basically a hole underneath your tooth filled with puss. this happens when you tooth contains decayed enamel, dentin or pulp. gases will start to form inside your tooth. since the gas will have no place to escape, it will exit through the bottom of your tooth, into your gums. them eventually, it will form puss, then absess.
