I would say there is no other choice other than "Butterfly Kisses" by Bob Carlisle. I am listening to it right now, and I have tears rolling. This is coming from a Daddy's little girl. This is the link for the song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgZftrobqlg
You are very lucky that you have your Daddy to give you away. I have been married for three years, and my Daddy has been gone for 10. I miss him very much. This is the song I would have chosen for our Father Daughter dance. I hope it is a beautiful day filled with love and magic. God Bless you.

I am going to dance with my father to "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw. It makes me cry every time I hear it. You should pick something that makes you think of your step dad as this song makes me think of my father and everything that he has done for me and my family. Or listen to this song. Maybe it will hit an emotional note with you as well.
Here's a link for the song.

Good luck and congratulations on you wedding.

My step father and I danced to "You Don't Have To Let Go" which the song Jessica Simpson wrote for her first dance with her dad. My sister is going to use the song "There You'll Be" by Faith Hill. = )

what is one of his favorite songs? Is there a song that your mom and him have, maybe you guys could dance to that song. A favorite song of mine is Brian McKnight "Love of my life". The music video is about his daughter or a father/daughter, pretty sure you can see it on youtube or something. If you want something upbeat, how about Stevie Wonder "Isn't she lovely" . He wrote that song for his daughter. It's a good way to celebrate how beautiful you will be on your special day. CONGRATULATIONS

Daddys Little Girl is the best song I think. I dont know who the singer is but if you are having a DJ they will know I am sure. Really cherish this dance with your dad - it is so special and it is a one time thing. GOOD LUCK!!!
