Ever heard of a 90 year old 7'?
My grandparents are all below 6'. Almost every old person I come across is on the shorter side of the average height,
and by old i mean 80 years plus. I know that at some point after you've stopped growing, you get shorter due to cartilage resorption or something like that. But that can't account for more than 2 inches loss in height, can it?
Is it possible that some heights are more biologically stable than others? and if so, why? and which height is the most stable?

if the person is within normal range of height, there is no connection to their life span. it's the people that are at either extreme that don't live as long. there are usually other problems that shorten their lives.
