1 day left for a real answer to the Q. No more cutsey nonphilosophy comebacks wanted.

I've learned not to use philosophical terminology for communicating with others. I won't say, "Come fellow hedonists, let us revel in the epicurean!"

Instead, I'll say..."Hey everybody, the steaks are done."

EDIT: This is a philosophy "A." It's a philosophy-based joke. I'd say some levity after all the other answers I posted to your questions is not out of line.

Generally speaking, though, I've found that it is difficult to talk about (or use) philosophical concepts in groups of people. Conversationally speaking, it creates the wrong dynamic. A one on one basis is much more conducive to discussions which include philosophical concepts.

When I express my opinions and thoughts to myself (if there is such a thing), I always compare and contrast those ideas to the spectrum of western philosophical concepts...especially existentialism, because lapsing into existentialism to justify doing unsavory things is far too easy a leap for the human condition to make.

Why do I use ideas to express myself? I'm human - they come naturally.
