Depends on how you define powerful.

Most define it as the ability to call fire down from the sky. God calls it power to stay true to Him regardless of the circumstance (think Job).

There is a powerful remnant that God keeps, but you won't find them in the modern day church. Those people would cave the moment you turn off their electricy (grid). Or, if they were under such 'persecution' that they broke a nail.

The church I attend is located within and I have yet to find my god not in attendance with me.
I can't single-handedly change the perversity of the world but I can improve the contributions I offer as a human being

One is a myth and the other is a dangerous thing. One of those has committed near genocide, inhuman torture, and persecution of any that would challenge it.
