well, the reincarnation concept is no more a joke than any other religious dogma like resurrection and being raptured to heaven or consigned to hell.
if ya toss a little quantum mechanics into the mix you can imagine that energy (soul) is a constant that manifests in the material through out all time lines so all lives (past, present and future) are occurring simultaneously.
PS the whole idea for reincarnation is to perfect the self via a series of lives lived so one might assume that by the time the sun implodes all souls will have been perfected and moved on to Nirvana.

I, for one, do believe in reincarnation. We are all recycled body to body until we attain enlightenment. I and my husband have been traveling together since the beginning of time. He is my soal mate. We were born exactly a week apart and I believe that we will die within a week of each other so our soals my remail in the same life sphcycle.
Yes, there is such a thing as a soal mate. We met and it was as if we had known each other for all time, even though we had never seen each other in the physical form. Nine days later we were married and that was nearly ten years ago. He is my best friend and soal mate and without him I wouldn't want to be.

Read the Words spoken by Jesus. Read Luke 11:24-26,
and Luke 16:37-31, the first is talking about being born again, (reincarnated), the second is talking about being resurrected.

Our universe is a tiny speck in infinity, one galaxy in billions and billions -- and billions. Worlds end everyday somewhere in the Cosmos, but life goes on, as does reincarnation.

Actually, several million people believe it. And they consider your beliefs different but they are not rude and telling you yours is a joke.
And as far as it being in the Bible, if the Gnostic gospels hadn't been left out, you'd be able to read about when Christ told his apostles "If you don't get it right this time, you keep coming back till you do."

Ok so here are the major theories on that:
1. You come back as some animal
2. Nothing
3. You live in the sky or in the Earth's core.
They all sound stupid to me.

I do not believe in the reincarnation. Where did that idea come from any way? It is no where in the bible. I do believe in the Ressurection however. Revelation 21:4, John 5:28,29

You have nothing to worry about . We will all end up in the same way . What we were long before birth , we will be again long after death ,
Reincarnation , heaven , hell , souls , gods , spooks , angels , are all supernaturals , they exist only in superstitious imaginations .

And the disciples asked him, saying, 'Why then do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?' But he answered them and said, 'Elijah indeed is to come and will restore all things. But I say to you that Elijah has come already, and they did not know him, but did to him whatever they wished. So also shall the Son of Man suffer at their hand.' Then the disciples understood that he had spoken of John the Baptist." (Matthew 17:10-13)

Reincarnation is a valid consideration. But it's not up to me to figure out what happens to souls after bodies die, nor is it up to any human. It is up to me only to live a good and righteous life. People who claim to know what happens after death are either liars, or zombies!
