BOY DO I HAVE A LOT TO SAY.

Now, about aliens - I don't know. I did ask about that, but all I got was "some truths are so profound that if they are given to you too soon you'll back away because you're not able to accept them yet."

Scientology, as far as I can tell, is not a valid religion - although I didn't get that far. DIANETICS - the science of mental health, is valid - I've seen, used, and experienced their methodology first hand.

...I also know that the Scientologists running the place withhold the knowledge and treatments needed to drain you of your money. It's unfortunate.

Go to www.myspace.com/thedavezone and read my blog PROBLEM HELP - it's on the upper right and you don't have to join.

Then go to www.freezone.de - if you can make it through some of the literature you'll see a very shocking picture of Scientology.

I can't comment on whether Scientology is a valid religion, although I haven't seen anything to suggest that it is. Nor can I comment on whether it's a cult, although I've seen some things (such as standing and clapping for a statue of the late L. Ron Hubbard - which might be considered idol-worship) which make me wonder.

Write me if you have ANYTHING else you'd like to know about it.

I hung around their centers for a couple of years, took a few courses, even attended their church services. The courses were great, the cost was reasonable, and the services were very generic.

The stuff I see here where people try to TELL the scientologists what they believe will usually also say that its all supposedly "secret information known only to the topmost members". So its kindof like asking the christians if they really believe that Jesus was married (which is also supposed to be secret info known only to the pope and his cronies but at least I saw it on a documentary and not on South Park cartoon or YouTube). In any case, even if they are right then it would still have 99% of the scientolgists truthfully answering "no".

Even with the anti-scientology posts I dont think the answer to your question would be yes. According to them its more like some alien god that is locked up now and you need to rely on yourself for your life improvments. But you would have to ask the anti-scientoligists that.

They "follow alien beliefs" in that at a high enough level, they will all learn that we are infested with alien souls. That is the aim of any devout, determined Scientologist, to move up the ranks, to "clear" oneself and then to attain "Operating Thetan" powers.

not really scientology is about basically the study and handling of the spirit in relationship to itself, others and all of life. The religion comprises a body of knowledge extending from certain fundamental truths.plus scientology litallry mean the study of truth.
