Religion and Culture goes together.
Arabic Culture is clearly defined within Islam Just as Jewish culture is defined in Judaism.
Christianity seems to be more universal but the ancient pagan input can't be missed.

Well, culture always affects everything else in your life. Culture is your enviroment and your everyday life. It is impossible to escape that wave that drags you down with it.
I beleive that if my parents wouldn't have been catholic, I might have not beleived in God. Also, if my culture was not so self centered, I would have been more devoted to religion.

Possible, but I think my education has more to do with the way I understand everything.

I was taught by my parents and teachers to question everything, including them. Thus, I am an atheist.

Yes, of course it has. I try to learn as much as I can about world beliefs though.

...also proof of this is that when a question on Yahoo answers is asked about God everyone assumes it is the Christian God.

Of course. Religion doesn't evolve in a vacuum. It didn't come from god, it simply explains how people are related to god.
