Hey peeps!!! So this girl started working at my office, and I think she is real cute. I asked about her and said I thought she was cute to someone. And she said the same. I then asked her to lunch. We went, and really actyually had a great time!! So we got back, and I got feedback from a girl friend of mine there that spoke to her without me knowing. She said the girl said she had alot of fun. BUT. She thought I was a little weird at first, and thought I was like stalkerish ( I've had plenty of gf's, long term, all that so I'm def. not one), but now she thinks I'm great. And wants to go eat out again next week. I am maybe trying to chalk this up to how hard it is to start something in the office? How it's almost nearly impossible not to be a little weird?? Ok well what do you guys think? And what can I do to not have her think that???? Ok thanks!!!!!!!

Just try and be as natural as possible. Maybe even drop into the conversation that you are a long term relationship guy rather than a quick fling guy.

Rule number one - and it is an office standard - never eat where you poop. If all goes foul, you could end up in a sexual harassment suit and loose your job. From here on out, if you go to lunch with her take someone else with you. One day, one of you might move on to another company. Sounds like you are young so there will be job changes in your futures. If you still are available and you are still friends, then ask her out. But keep it professional until then. Otherwise you are at risk for the unemployment line.

Be cool. Don't push. Ask her to go out with a group from the office for lunch, not just the two of you. After several group lunches, ask her out to lunch, just you two. Then go back to group stuff. Give her time to get to know you in a safe way.

DON'T go past her desk every day. If you see her in the hall, say "hi" and smile, but don't necessarily stop to talk to her (sometimes, yes, but not every time).

And don't focus on her--find other people, maybe from a club or sports team or whatever hobby you have--to also date.

Sounds like maybe this is her issue. If you're being honest it doesn't sound like you've done anything "stalkerish." Maybe she's had some experience with creepy guys and now she's afraid everyone might turn out to be. Just ask her point blank why she said it and maybe you'll learn something about her.

Are you sure the girl you like even said you were stalkerish?
Maybe the other girl is jealous and made it up. If the girl you like wants to date you I wouldn't worry about it. Just don't rely on other people to relay your thoughts about the relationship.
Go slow with the relationship. Moving too fast sets off stalker warning signs.

Well, first of all you are out of high school so you need to quit trying to get information about her (stalking) from other people in the office. Ask her out again. If she says no, drop it and move on.

Just continue to show her your true self and go out with her again so she gets to know you better and maybe then she will realize her first impression of you was wrong and you are not weird or stalkerish.
Good luck.

Never, ever date in the office.
Bad news all around.
