we've been going out for about a month now since he asked me to the homecoming dance (were both juniors in HS) and he's my very first bf, and i'm his first real gf, and we hang out all the time before and after school and in the hallways between classes and on weekends and we've had some pretty fun times alone and with his friends. yesterday when we were over at his house "watching" a movie, if u get my drift, he stopped and told me that he loves me. but i seriously have never been in love, and i'm not exactly close with my family, i basically just live with them (it's a bit hard to explain) but yeah, i'm not sure if i completly love him back, but i do always look forward to when we can see each other
and btw, we both aren't into drugs and stuff, i kno hes not cus hes diabetic so it'd probobly kill him, and hes not like the ganstar type either
but i mean i just don't kno, i don't want to tell him that i don't love him back cus it's not entirly true, cus i really really do like him

just don't say it, we understand if you don't love us yet, and if he doesn't understand and leaves ya for it, then forget about him he isn't the kind of guy you want. If you need something to say, say thanks, and if you don't wanna say that, then say how you feel, a lot of guys say quite early in a relationship so don't be too alarmed

you can tell him that you think you may love him too but that your are both too young to plan anything together yet since you have the rest of high school to get through and then possibly college, suggest to him take it one day at a time and see where that takes you. He may be the perfect person for you but until you get out of school and either go to college or get a job somewhere neither of you know where you are going and how the other one will fit into your life after school ends.
You don't want to get into a relationship where you end up having a baby in high school and not having the choices that you would have otherwise and if it is true love it will survive the rest of high school and after that as well.
