When Danny from the Partridge Family decided to go into rehab for his addictions he decided that he'd read 100 classic novels. his intelligence level increased because of that because it increased his vocabulary and his knowledge base and references.
You can do the same thing with math subjects.

Um. Read. There are books on math theories, and pretty much everything else you're looking to...advance in. Just make sure that when you are reading up on *x* topic, you keep a notebook at hand to write down things you are unsure of. Then ask a teacher or someone to help elaborate. On the matter of the universe, look into basic philosophy books. With any books, write down topics you want to study, go the reference desk of any library, and show them a list you've made. They can help you choose books at the appropriate level and then you can work your way up.

No one knows everything.
Find a field in which you are interested in and specialize in it.
Or if you are looking at a superficial level, go to the library and borrow some science/math books. Those wacky science books offer interesting facts about the Big Bang.
Good luck!

Start reading, books, magazines, journal, articles on subjects that interest you or that you want to learn about. Keep copies of the ones that you really like that way you can pull them out when you feel like a refresher. Go to chat rooms on theory and pay attention to the topics pull the info that grabs you and research it.

Try a course with the Open University.
They are informative, educational and stretching - without being totally impossible.
Plenty of subject choice leading to a full university degree. (I took mathematics etc. for five years from age 52 and both got my degree and thoroughly enjoyed it - particularly the summer schools!)
The teaching and marking standards are really excellent - give it a try!

Go to www.dianetics.org, get the $5 version of the book "Learning How to Learn", don't buy anything else they try to sell you, (and don't give them your name, number, or anything else), and read the pamphlet.
Then write me and we'll discuss it further.
