I am leaving this as a general question because I am writing about it in a paper for college and need opinions. Thanks.
Do you cheat? If so why? Is it peer pressure? Not wanting to work on the current relationship? Can you control yourself? Do you just not care? Etc.

Oh and if you don't mind, are you married, how old are you, what is your track record - - have you always cheated and are you M or F?

I believe that probably about 20 - 25% of relationships involve infidelity. I am a 52 year old male. Was married previously and yes did cheat during that marriage. Married a woman 5 months ago today and know for a fact that my cheating days are far behind me. When I cheated I was guilty of abusing alcohol and drugs at the time also. Am not using this as an excuse but it did play a role in all my lifestyle choices at the time.

Im not married but I have a close friend who is and him and his wife only just got married in july. He is 33 and she is 29 i believe. He has been cheating on her cause she refuses to work on their sex life. She expects him to do all the things she likes in the bedroom but refuses to compromise and complains when he asks her to do what he likes. So he goes to someone else to do what he wife refuses to. I honestly never believed he was in love with her cause the whole thing happened too fast and i think it was more out of convenience than anything else
