I grew up having to duck under my school desk in case of nuclear holocaust.... you'll have to deal with it.
The last several generations owe an apology for screwing up the earth this bad...
Edit: current older folk (like me) have paid more in to Social Security than they will ever recieve... quitcher whining.

No, youth owes the older generation a thank you for discovering global warming. Maybe the youth, if they care enough, can figure a way to reverse it.
As for the social security situation. SS was never intended to be money to live on. That's why it's called a supplement to your income.
If you want to retire with money to live on, learn how to budget and save for that day instead of depending on the government to bail you out because you neglected to plan ahead. In fact, I believe that a mandatory retirement savings account should be established by everyone that works to they have control over it instead of the government. Put the responsibility back where it belongs...on the individual.

Don't let things like global warming scare you. Their are aways going to be looming problems in the future, As there are serious problems, that are presently existing on the earth today. Life is full of challenges, which can be solved by the right people, who have developed the strength of character to take them on. One should be a spiritual warrior, and take on the problems of the world, that you think you can handle and encourage others to do the same. One should though diet, exercise, and meditation/prayer build up your character, so that you will be able to get the most out of, what talent you can apply to a serious problem in this world.

The teens can simply ignore all the news of disaster and go on with their lives. There is really nothing effective they can do to prevent global warming and if there was they would already face being forced to do it.
So concentrate on the things that matter like getting a decent education in hopes of finding a good job so you can marry your high school sweet heart and raise a tribe of brats.
In my generation it was all about the population bomb and now it is all about the disasterous decline in birth rates.
If you worry about the news then the news companies will drive you nuts.

If you think that is the case, we owe our elders an apology for the prevalence of drug use, disrespect, etc.
We ALL have stress. The older generation has it as well.
Get over it.
How can the older generation, with so many stresses on them, cope with the very real possibility that there will be NO Social Security left when it is their time to receive the benefits for which they paid all their lives?

Don't blame it on them. This time was spoken about in scripture....
Isa 30:26 Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days, in the day that the LORD bindeth up the breach of his people, and healeth the stroke of their wound.
It is because of this that Mars and Neptune are also undergoing global warming. I'm sure the other planets as well, but I do not know if research has been done on that.
I find it ironic that 'men' give Al Gore whatever-thousands of dollars in a 'Nobel prize' for LYING TO THEM.

No. The older generation owes youth a big apology for setting up the social security system. The older generation did not pay into it as much as they got out of it, while the youth will end up paying more into it then they ever will get out of it, considering it will go bankrupt in the near future.

maybe yes maybe no...
the realityis that youth always have something over their heads.
In the 50's it was 'the bomb' and in other decades it was ;the RUssians' or 'Aids' or somethings else. The world is full of pressures and they fall heavy on youth.
If it wasn;t global warming it would be something else.
Instead of being scared to death, be scared to life

An apology for telling the truth? I don't think so.
And by the way, with all due respect, teens aren't the only ones with major stresses in their lives.

We are given what we are given. I think we should get an apology from Adam and from Cain and from Hitler and from our founding fathers in the USA for slavery and from oil companies and from the CIA for the WMD mistake, but I am not spending my energy on waiting for it. I am living my life and am very grateful to GOD for what I have and for what I do not have.
