If you make your own muffins it will be cheaper and healthier. The following is a link to the muffins page on one of my favorite recipe sites:

Even if the recipe doesn't call for it, I use whole wheat flour in all of my baking. Also, in almost any recipe, mushed bananas or apple sauce work as egg substitues. Apple sauce works for oil substitution as well. While I've not tried it for anything else but my chocolate cake, vinegar and water might also work for egg substitution as well. (There is a section on the About site that talks of egg substitutions. Also try a search for cooking oil substitutions as well.) Since I make my chocolate cake with apple sauce instead of oil and whole wheat flour, I don't feel as guilty about eating it, even though I still only make it for pot luck dinners and company dinners. I digress.
