It depends on the designer - if you are getting something from somewhere like David's Bridal, then anywhere from 2-4 months should be fine.

However, if you are going with a more "upscale" designer like Jim Hjelm or Dessy, you probably want to start looking and trying on no later then 6 months in advance. Often, these type of dresses are made to order and can take 4-6 months to come in, depending on the style and your bridal salon.

Another good reason to get started early is that it may take the girls a while to all decide on a dress. You can also just have them wear the same fabric and color of a certain desinger and have them pick out their own dresses. Saves some time on trying to decide on just one style!

I have been in 8 weddings and the timing ranged from 4 months to 1 year. I think about 6 months is best. Many dresses take 2 to 4 months to come in so you want to be sure there aren't any problems and that there is plenty of time for alterations.

Some bridal stores require at least 4 months in advance. And that would be cutting it close. Before the store will complete the order, all of your girls measurements need to be in first.

Begin searching online for styles of bridesmaid dresses that you like that way you'll have an idea before going into the store with your girls. Think about the color you'd like them to be in, if you want the dresses to be floor length or tea length or if you'd like for them to choose their own dresses in a color you choose.

If it were me, I would start 6 - 8 months ahead of the wedding date to see if there are any sales, the best prices for the dresses I would want etc. For example, Ann Taylor is having a sale right now on bridesmaids gowns ($60 and up with an extra 25% off too!). Here's a few online places to look at:

As soon as possible, but I would reccomend at least 6 months before. Some places have to order and ship the dresses so you want plenty of time to recieve them and have the altered. Final alterations should be completed at the latest 2 weeks before.

Also don't stress if you can't get all your girls together at one time. Take who is available to try on styles and get opinions, but the final decision is up to you. Once you have decide just let the other girls know what dress to purchase.

Good luck!

definite, the groom can see the bridesmaid clothing in the previous the marriage. basically like the bride can see the groomsmen suits in the previous the marriage. the only subject is the marriage gown (such as you stated) that they can't see or that's undesirable success. additionally they would be unable to be sure the bride in the previous the marriage, seeing it is undesirable success besides.

About two months depending on who is doing alterations.

You can pick out the dresses years in advance but you want to wait as long as possible to get them fitted. Too early and you'll have to pay twice since bodies may change.
