Do you have any other pets? Maybe they are playing with her.

Hamsters are very good at atracting rodents. In the middle of the night they fight with Rats & Mice. The next day they can be injured... or you find a dead Mouse/Rat in their cage.

Mice have collapsable bodies,.. so they can get through anything the size of their head. This means they can find ways in and out of cages that a Hamster cannot.

After Hamsters die,.. people hear what they assume is Phantom sounds. Or maybe the house is settleing. It's really their home is infested with Rodents inside the walls. Eventurally they get bd enough to be scene.
