I'm currently 29, and I'm dating another 29 year old girl. Both of us are going to be 30 in few months.
A lot of dating advices I get from dating this girl is to play the usual waiting game. Act like you are unavailable, call back once in a while, don't act needy, etc... But the matter of the fact is that I really like this girl, and I really hate playing this game.
The question I have is whether playing this game is actually counter-proactive. Do girls at her age have less patience in dating and want guys with more direct approach? She told me before that she is thinking about marrying someone EVENTUALY and having a family. She's an attractive girl, and I'm sure she has experienced all this game before.
I'm sure the answer would depend on the situation and the person, but I want a general answer. Thanks.

Additional notes... she already knows that I'm interested in her. I don't know if she feels the same way. We haven't hung out for 3 weeks, but we've been in communication everyday for a week now. She's the one who says she's too busy to meet up, not me.
Also, she's attractive in multiple ways; inside and out. That's why it's hard for me to move on.
Please respond to the question related to her age, not about playing games.

I think that the dateing "game" is for people who want to date mroe than one person. If you want to date this girl only, then tell her.

Hmmmmmm. Hard one for me, I have never asked for advice in dating - i usually observe and learn from others. My question is why you stated that she is a very attractive girl? Maybe you are into this relationship for the wrong reasons. Beauty is only skin deep as they say. Anyone can bang a hott chick - but you may want to re-evaluate what you want in life for yourslf then find someone who wants the same. Be open and honest - if you keep it all in - when it does come out you dont want to big of a surprise.

You dont want to test a woman's patience, this is how it works. you show her you are not available the she gets used to being treated that way, guess what? She will
a) find other things to do to replace you
b) find a guy who is not too proud to show his feelings.
You do wanna be the guinea pig to the saying "If it's yours let it go..."blabla.
At 29 patience is not the first idea in a girl's mind. Be wise.She intends to get married with or without you, tis your choice.

GAMES are for childish people. If you have to play games, why not go to the nearest playground.

I guess the saying is true: " Women mature faster than men".
My Advice - Do what your heart feels, if you like her, then treat her with respect and be honest. She will do the same for you.

I HATE games, don't play them, and wouldn't put up with it. They are immature! If you like her, hang out with her. Be honest. Honesty is key to any good relationship.

don't play games they suck, if you like her tell her. Girls don't like guys that play games, they get angry with games and they eventually will just move on and find a guy that tells them how beautiful they look, how good they smell, how much they love them, etc.

OPEN honesty with her and if she is TRUE LY interested that she too will open up If not then you got out with your dignity and NOT have fallen head over heals with her

i could say endearing, yet that relies upon on what form of people she chooses as her new "acquaintances". If she makes undesirable possibilities by way of fact she needs a "quickly training", i could quickly say PATHETIC.
