It happened at Antioch. Luke in the book of acts talks about it. The name was actually meant to be an insult, but Christians took it as a compliment.

The book of Acts.

The first Christians were all Jews. Then the surrounding Gentiles became Christian (Syrians and those in Asia Minor).

Catholicism is a cult that didn't start until 300 AD, and they weren't Christians then and they aren't today either.

Those first called Christians were notably the likes of:
- Saul, of Saul-->Paul-->Converted Paul The Apostle
- carried away Barnabas(carried away by dissimulation)
- Peter(called Satan), of Simon-->Peter-->Converted Peter

He taketh away the first(law & lie),
that he might establish the second(grace & truth)

For even Paul felt wretched via trying another law.
And even Peter of Simon-->Peter is called Satan.
And even Barnabas got carried away to Baby-lon,
notably by the dissimulation of Peter, of Simon-->Peter.

So then, Christ-ianity is a growth process,
involving "grow in grace", not in law vs law.

Christ is the end of the law: Romans 10:4
Christ is not the mend of law: Luke 5:36,37.

Reconciliation is "to God", not to Jesus nor to Christ.
Reconciliation to God is by Jesus-->Christ-->to God.
Reconcilation to God is through Jesus-->Christ-->God.

Once "reconciled to God", then no longer any need for
a mediator to mediate, nor an intercessor to intercede.

BE YE RECONCILED TO GOD(not to Jesus, nor to Christ)

May you all make it to the end of the shew
already written, and alive unto God(Grace).

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus-->Christ with you-->all. Amen.
