I don't drink alcoholic drinks because I don't like the taste. You obviously don't know much about Christianity, because we use grape juice for communion, not wine. I don't even know what that Rastafarian thing is because we don't do that. (Is that a Catholic thing? Sorry, I have no clue.) But on a daily basis I do Tricor for my cholesterol. Thank you for the concern.

EDIT: weemaryanne, again: what is it exactly that we're supposed to be afraid of? Because I don't know any Christians who are afraid of something specifc. Perhaps we need your vast religious experience to better educate us so we can start getting scared.

Well wine is not used during communion. But no it does not kill brain cells. Not all Christians,in fact I don't know any, are rastafarians and I guess there would be no cannabis if that truly isn't a Christian denomination. I, however, am bi-polar so I stay pretty medicated so that when silly people aggravate me by pushing my buttons, I don't go off and shoot them. I really do not have any answer as to what that will ultimately do to any of my organs over the long haul. But, my peace of mind now sort of makes up for it. Have a blessed day!

Speaking as a pharmacy technician, we have customers who are religious (wearing crosses); some I know are pastors or pastor's wives.... they take the usual blood pressure, diabetes, etc, and some also take anti-depressants and pain pills like Vicodin and Norco... some also use major anti-psychotics. I doubt that this is much different from the population at large; but it does prove that religious folk are taking as many drugs (albeit legal) as anyone else.

They must be pretty drugged up to believe in an invisible man who lives in the sky and created the world out of nothing with his magic.

I take grape juice when we have communion.

I never heard of Rastafarian.

I don't smoke because it's nasty and dirty.
I only take prescribed medicine to reduce cholesterol and to build up bones.

Studies have shown that aglass of red wine is beneficial.

No one who is intelligent, religious or otherwise, does drugs. It's stupid and dangerous.

Fear and credulity will make people believe anything. Some are so sh!t-scared they'll even believe that a flying Jewish zombie can save the world from the wrath of his father (who is also himself).

Meth seems to be the drug of choice down in the Bible belt. It's a REAL problem down there.
