There is no flaw in God's system. He sent 10 commandments and you have heard about it. If you heard about it, you are supposed to find out and follow them. Your not finding out after hearing about it does not give you an excuse to be pardoned.
If you lived in the deep jungle of Brazil where all live naked, hunt for food with their bows and arrows and know nothing about religion. No one went to them and told about any religion, then they will be judged by rules made by their village elders which distinguish good and evil actions. Those who live by the good rules of their leaders will be rewarded heaven and those who violate the good rules and do evil actions will be punished in hell.
God is Just and Merciful. God doesn't punish innocent if they really didn't get to know about God or His religion. God Himself knows all about every human being what he/she didn't know, why didn't know and if it was posible for him/her to find out about God or not.

The ten commandments are the core of the old covenant. This covenant was like a contract, and the parties to it were Israel and God. You were not a party to that covenant, therefore you cannot be held to the conditions of that covenant.
Ultimate judgment has to do with believing the gospel about Jesus Christ.
John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
The gospel is simple enough for anyone to understand. God is no respecter of persons.

Not knowing is not an excuse. You are still responsible for your destiny. You have been alive and with other people long enough where you learn a lot without even trying.
You know by your statement that there are 10 commandments. And you know there will be a judgment day.
God knows what you know and what's in your heart. Not knowing is not an excuse.

The 10 commandments belong to the abrahamic faiths. And most christians don't follow them either so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Breaking just one of them means imminent death. This is why none of us can say we are without sin. Yet God has provided a way of escaping death. Christ has paid for our sins to allow those who come to him by faith fellowship with God.
