Once again! to Catholic Crusader;
http://www.rbc.org/odb/odb-08-30-07.shtml
it would seem the christian god does forget the sins of the past, which was really lucky for the "Christian Saviour" Constantine the Great ( a Pagan), for he didn't repent until nearing death, of which took place only 2wks after his Baptism ( note: he died an Arian!!) so he could make it into the everlasting without Purging his sins.
so it appears that you re wrong CC

No. To forgive someone is to forgive and to choose not to remember his sins against me. Just as God has forgiven us and has chosen to remember our sins no more:
Hebrews 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.
My church does not keep a record of any one's sins.

If God kept a record of our sins we could not stand! So, due to Christ Jesus taking the punnishment for our sins, he tears that record up and does not hold it against us. That is why Jesus told Christians (in the Lord's Prayer) that to obtain God's forgiveness we HAVE to forgive others the sins they have committed against us! If we don't, God will not forgive us.
When Christ, on the cross, cried, 'Father, forgive them' it was because he had forgiven them and released them from their guilt. He also set the Father free from having to punish them because HE had forgiven them and his death covered them. The ultimate proof of total forgiveness is when we sincerely petition the Father to let off the hook those who have hurt us, not to throw the book at them. Further, we only truly forgive once we seek God's blessing on those who've sinned against us.

Everything except God is nigh non-existent by comparison to God, but it is strongly existing relative to those like themselves.
Therefore people sin against themselves and others, but it insignificant to God except some, call on God to relieve them of their own, and other's, sins.
That is the whole reason of the Messengers, Prophets and Messiah to us, though they are far greater than us to themselves and each other. Their/God's Mercy and Justice overlooks our faults knowing our innate limits by comparison to Them, and Godhead... Thus they alone are sufficient to teach mankind its errors, so that we might be reformed into more, and more perfect creatures. Science is in fact a great gift of expression of this verity.
God bless.

We are taught that perfect love keeps no record of wrongs; and that we should not seek revenge but leave room for God's wrath.
I don't expect justice in this world. He can take care of all that in the next.

i think people use other's past wrong's against them, no matter what if any religion the person is. i thinks it's more about poor communication skills. you don't have to believe in a god to know that nobody is perfect and nobody likes a hypocrit

You are generalizing that verse incorrectly: "If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?" (Psa 130:3) It is merely a hypothetical, not a proof that he does not remember iniquity, for there are unbelievers in the world.
