Most are. Added water, too much sugar, not fresh, fruits you're allergic to, a company that produces milk products, etc. After a fruit juice has been made, it won't be as good and fresh after 20 mins. You're better off blending your own juices.

It depends on the contents of the fruit juice. If it's a fruit drink, it often contains just a little real fruit juice and the rest is high fructose corn syrup. That's bad.
Assuming it's a 100% juice product, some have good nutrients , especially if they are minimally processed. The danger is that juices are packed with calories and sugars (even if it's natural fruit sugar). it's easy to gulp down many large servings. Juice doesn't fill you up, so you're still going to eat full meals as well.
It's much better to eat whole fruit. It's more nutritious, and it contains fiber. The sugars in whole fruits are released more slowly when they aren't juiced, plus the bulk of the fruit fills you up. It's easy to drink 15 oranges worth of orange juice, but chances are you couldn't force yourself to eat more than 3 whole oranges at one sitting.
So... juice is OK in moderation, if you are not trying to lose weight. If you're overweight, you are much better off eating an orange or an apple and staying away from juice.
Also try adding a splash of juice to a flavored, 0 calorie carbonated water. It encourages you to get more water, and keeps your fruit juice portion small, while still getting some of the flavor you're craving.

After Juice has been sat in the carton for a few days it just becomes simple sugar so if you are trying to lose weight or are trying to limit sugar intake for any other reason its best avoided, it will cause an insuline spike.
it does contain vitamins though so its not all bad,and it can count towards your "five a day" quota.
Freshly squeezed is best but not always practical so if you're drinking cartoned juice, go for the "not from concentrate" variety, this means it hasn't been tampered with in any way.

Well if you are a purist you can always get your own juicer.. but the people that make the juice aren't trying to harm people they want to make money, which they can't make if the stuff wasn't any good!
Langors is the best.. less sugar than any other brand!
