Actually Jweston I see no reason for the ideas of evolution to actually deal with God at all, you are right to point out that I used creation as a sloppy reference to Creationist who base their beliefs in Genesis.
I wish I could give you two thumbs up for raising that point, even if I do disagree with the isea of assuming a God did the creation thing instead of a simple "Don't know"

This is going to the voters. I am not going to choose the best answer because I liked them all, even the ones I did not like.
Thanks to all of you, I hope you all get chosen as best answer.

evolution.

The answers are so biased towards "evolution" it's almost funny. The question is also ridiculous: the issue isn't evolution versus creation but evolution versus Genesis. Even evolutionists must logically admit to a creator God, that is if they want to be logical.

A chicken is a bird. There is evidence that birds evolved from dinosaurs and dinosaurs had teeth. An embryo passes through several stages in which it doesn't look like the being it actually is when fully developed. Sounds like evolution to me. I know a Lutheran who would say that god did it. He doesn't believe in any science.

It must mean that chickens and dinosaurs are the same 'kind'.

It is not proof. Evolution can only be falsified - not proven. It is merely evidence in support of evolution.

everything is proves of creation, science is just PAINFULLY slow to learn.....

2007-10-20 01:40:54 · answer #10 · answered by Anonymous · 4 2

evolution, even in the article it says "mutant", does "god" "create" mutants?Because that would imply he isn't perfect (or isn't paying attention....)
from what I've seen on Yahoo answers I'm beginning to think "scientific american" must be an oxymoron...
