Won't give you birth control, won't perform a sterilization? You need to find a better clinic!
The usual reason for a miscarriage is that the fetus is defective. But the fact that you have had so many pregnancies in such a short time may be damaging to your uterus. Again, I think you need to find a doctor who is willing to answer your questions in detail, explaining exactly what he/she believes is going on, and use simple enough language that you can understand it. You may have to be rather persistent, depending on the nature of the hospital or clinic you are going to, but you must get better health care than you have been getting.
Just curious: is the clinic run by Catholics?

So you have been pregnant 3 times already this year? The 2 miscarriages could be from the abortion......I don't understand why they won't give you birth control, etc. I have had 2 miscarriages and they just say I am unlucky, it just happens. But since you had all this happen all this year I would say it's related to the abortion and maybe your body just isn't ready for another yet or something could have been damaged inside due to the abortion... Most doctors won't do testing until you have had 3 miscarriages. Seems like you already have your hands full for such a young age! =)

It sounds to me as if your body isn't getting enough time to recover. If I'm counting right, if you are pregnant again, this would be your 6th pregnancy and you are only 22.
Why can't you get birth control pills? If it is a health reason, there are other birth control methods that are not invasive - there's diaphragms, foams, and the old standby, condoms. Foams, suppositories, and condoms can be bought over the counter, so there's no excuse for not using birth control.
Your body needs plenty of time to rest and recover after a pregnancy - even one that is not carried to term. Do yourself a favor, and obtain birth control. Then, when you are ready, you will probably be able to have a healthy full term baby. You're young, and you have plenty of time.

I agree with Chris it seems you have had so many pregnancies in one year. There are so many forms of birth control out there. I have used depo shots which some women love its a shot that lasts about 3 months and most women don't have any menstrual cycle with it. I have also tried the pill which mine was specially prescribed because of my high progesterone levels. And I have had an IUD put in place its as simple as a normal exam to experience and it could last up to ten years. This is what I had put in place when my doctors told me that I was too young for a tubal. Speak to your ob or switch to another one if they are not willing to help you find the one that is best for you. Good Luck

I'd change your doctor if I was you. Surely this isn't good for your health and you need to be healthy to look after your other children. If there is a medical reason why you can't take contraception then maybe your husband should take on that responsibility.
Hope this helps.

Why can't you get birth control? is it a health risk and why can't your husband get a vasectomy? What I would do is to go to another clinic. You can't keep doing this to your body.

find a doctor that will do his/ her job and explain. however it is said that the body aborts sometimes.. when things have gone awry. maybe or maybe not. barring an accident... that is the only explanation i know. but the key is a phsician that has time to talk with you openly.. and thoroughly.
