I own a Springfield Armory 1911 TRP. I'm looking for a compensator that follows the contour of the slide if you know what I mean, not one that is just a ported tube sticking off the barrel. I prefer the the cone style but can't seem to find one. I've been to numerous web sites to no avail. Any help?

There's also the Wilson Combat style that follows only the contour of top of the slide.

Attend a couple of gun shows you will find one, I like the same type you do, bought 4 last gun show. Can't find manufacterers name or I would give it to you. It is a one man company he makes a lot of 1911 stuff, he is out of Nevada and hits most of the west coast shows.

Try Shooters Connection. I hate trying to navigate his site but if you have the patients, Chuck has the parts. If you have trouble with the site just call them and they can help you out.
