I don't think questioning the holocaust should ever be considered a crime, and i would be suspicious of any move to criminalize any attempt to get to the truth of any matter regardless of controversy. As long as its conducted in a sensitive manner and can before being conducted at least show evidence that an alternative opinion may be valid.
As for causing an offense to a particular religious denomination , just for the sake of causing offence which i think the Mohammud cartoons were is morally wrong, and in such light should be questioned in court as to what motives were behind it other than stirring discontent to a degree of violence.
Denying God in any country must be a right of any individual, you cannot force someone to accept something which they in their heart cannot accept as truth.

the best punishment each can have is education, education, education! That is our job to give education of what we have on subjects to others
How could anyone possibly be educated that would want to cause offence to other human beings. There is always something lacking in the persons education for example: a person can be a great scientist the best in the world but because he read only about sciences then he or she may have lacking in social skills of how to understand and deal with people or the impact of the words on others, no one can have the complete education on all subjects- show me a person that is living and walking this earth that has all that.

The one questioning the holocaust is stupid, but not a criminal, unless he goes out and starts spreading hate. Then, he goes to jail.
The cartoonist would go free with a warning that drawing cartoons of Muhammad is nuts and very controversial.
The ones denying God/Allah ... it's not my business what people do privately. Freedom of religion is a fundamental right in Canada. If I were a judge in a Muslim country, I would try to convince the population to lighten the hell up and quit letting their clerics get them so worked up and hysterical over stupid things. I would order all citizens to take Prozac and learn how to meditate.

You should question the Holocaust and when you see the evidence you will agree it happened. and cry....I have been to Dachau.
Writing abusive cartoons of the Prophet is disrespectful to the MAJORITY of Islam and should be discouraged but not rioted over.
Denying Gods existence in any country is a personal choice. You can't MAKE people share your beliefs.
I am my own Judge, thus Sayeth Big Red.

I would do nothing. I would possibly reprimand the cartoons of the Prophet, because that's a HUGE insult to the Muslims, but the people I would sentence would be the people who set fire to pictures of the man who drew the cartoons.
EDIT: I wouldn't sentence them heavily, imagine what could happen if the fire had escaped? I doubt those fires would be well controlled, people could get hurt.
There are also less violent ways to express yourself, such violence & over-doing of reactions aren't really allowed in Islam. The protests could be approached in a more civilised & less Middle-Agey way.
I'd ban them from using... fire. :/

I wouldn't sentence any of them. The cartoonist would be fired if i gave him/her specific rules stating certian abuse of your work will get you fired etc.
Deny away...I don't have a say if someone choses religion or not. That is all based on personal prefrence and rights.
And the need for info should never be punished.A person has the right to question for knowledge. What they do with that knowledge is a different story.Actions speak louder than words.Read all about making bombs but the second you plan to create harm on another, then judgement and proper placement for you will come.

Its a little silly to talk about how you'd punish 'blasphemy' in a country where it was actually in the lawbooks. You'd have no choice, would you?
If I could make whatever decisions I felt were just, all would be set free with no charges filed.
Holocaust denial strikes me as the most unpleasant of all these but I believe in freedom of speech.

All of these are not punishable according to Muslim rule and only the cartoonist will be punished by the common people in a muslim country because of their love and affection for prophets.

I would sentence no one and all would go free. Because everyone is entitled to freedom of speech and freedom of thought even if I do not agree with what they are saying.

This is a free country.
The Simpsons shouldn't be just one of the cartoon targets. Cartoonists should be given the liberty to caricaturize as they please just like the toilet artists.
I'll set them free.
