Cars are Physical objects. Religion is spiritual and therefore intangible and so there is no direct link at all.
However most religions have places of worship that are also physical objects. So a car can be used to transport you as a physical object to them.
They can also be involved in accidents and this often has a profound effect on the people in them and quite a few become religous as a result, when they were not beforehand.

Cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world
Similarly made, similarly sold
In a motorcade, abandoned when they're old
Cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world
Engine in the front, jack in the back
Wheels take the brunt, pinion and a rack
Cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world
But people are strangers
They change with the curve
From time zone to time zone
As we can observe
They shut down their borders
And think they're immune
They stand on their differences
And shoot at the moon
But cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world
Drive 'em on the left, drive 'em on the right
Susceptible to theft in the middle of the night
Cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world
I once had a car
That was more like a home
I lived in it, loved in it
Polished its chrome
If some of my homes
Had been more like my car
I probably wouldn't have
Travelled this far
Cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world
Cars are cars all over the world

They pollute the air and do harm to the world - religion pollutes minds and does harm!
I have also heard some creationist idiots try to use a motor car as a version of Paley's watch, an argument for design - if a tornado swept through a junk yard, how likely would it be to arrange all the components into a working car? That is supposed to prove that something as complex as the human body - much more complex than an eye, could not possibly have evolved by random chance.
Of course all it proves is that creationists don't understand how evolution works - it is NOT random in that sense!

Their not. Cars are simply a form of transportation. Nothing else. No different then horses, camels, donkeys, etc.
I don't know how anyone can "link" their car to their religion, although, there are many people that believe that their car makes them something special. And they worship their car.

Many drivers believe parking spaces, when available, are an act of either myself or Tori Amos.
In reality car use pollutes the planet endangering the future heath and environment of, for example, your future grandchildren, if you believe in DNA and reincarnation logically, those suffering should be your own parents so, in theory, they are only making it worse on themselves.

They can be linked to a persons values. A flashy car might represent a person who is vain and a sensable car would repesent a person who is modest.

Here's one you can use. Evolutionists claim that because apes and humans are similar, one evolved from the other. Christians could say, well look at a MINI and a BMW 5 Series. They both have 4 wheels, an engine, a steering wheel, room for 5 people. But one didn't evolve from the other, they simply had the same company designing them. The analogy is that humans and apes look similar because they had the same designer - God.

Well, my much loved but temperamental classic Saab has made me utter the words Jesus Christ more times than I can remember. Does that count?
