The first time that I saw the Exorcist was at the local drive-in theater with my parents. I had decided to lay my blanket on the ground in front of our station wagon and watch the movie. To say the least, when I saw Regan's head start spinning... I was back in the backseat and under my blanket like a bullet. Great movie for that day and time.

Nope, i just saw the movie when my friends bought an exorcist movie collection last year. It includes the exorcist part 1 until part 3, and in addition the beginning of exorcist the movie which was made last 2005 i think. My first impression about the movie was it's kinda weird, when the girl put the crucifix inside her vagina. i was shocked. like what the hell did she do? I think, its real.. I mean the one who played the role of the girl who were possessed by the demon, after taping of the movie, i think she was brought to a psychiatrist and at the same time she was being prayed over because something bad and an usual happened to her after the movie's of exorcist was released.
Its very scary. You will be having a 2 weeks difficulty of sleeping. The movie just keeps invading your mind every night hehehe

The first time I saw it I was probably 12 or 13 years old. But I didn't see it in the theater (I was not a twinkly in my father's eye for nearly 10 years after it came out). But it scared the crap out of me the first time I saw it.

Well, I'm sixteen myself, and I saw it a couple of months ago. It's a pretty good movie, but the reputation that it had after so many years had me laughing at it when I finally saw it. It's nowhere near as scary as the real deal.

I was only 8 when it came out, so no I didn't see it until years later. It was creepy, but didn't really scare me. Ghosts and demons are fun in the movies, but not scary in real life. People are much more frightening.

Yes.I saw it at the Cinema. I was 28 at the time. It was good entertainment, and the special effects[trick photography] were quite good for that period, before digital became the norm. It would be very tame by today's standards of blood and gore, but the suspense factor was certainly there.

I was only 4 years old when the film was released so I've never seen it in the theater. I saw it a few years after it was released to television. I was ten years old when I finally did see it and it didn't scare me; I thought it was totally make-believe.
