The rain water is God given gift. It is very essential to preserve. The water collected on your roof can be routed to well or a sump. This will increase the under water level in the area. The water can be purified and used for drinking. The water can be used for gardening, washing and other purposes. This will reduce the dependency on others for Water.

1.. When it will rain take a cup keep it in the open let it fill with rain water. Then carefully keep it in a big safe.

2.. This can only be possible by our Govt. on high level projects and only by sincere scientists but absolutely not by politicians and bureaucrats of the time

A very simple and very easy way to save rain water is to plant more and more trees, promote the vegitation, but if you are intrested only in the temporaray storage then keep your buckets in the rain..

Large containers under gutters, set up any tarps or plastics in a way that will funnel water. Old or new swimming pools are great for containers. Use anything that has a large service. Of course don't forget to Pray for rain, so far we have not had much of that lately.
