I don't believe that every person here illegally thinks that. Honestly, the vast majority are just looking far a better life. Does that mean I think it's OK for them to be here illegally and take advantage of the benefits that living here brings? No, of course not. There are the ones who seem to think that by virtue of sneaking into this country somehow entitles them to the benefits of our society without the sacrifice that those of us who are legal citizens have paid for. THESE are the ungrateful idiots who march in protest, slamming the country they want to pillage, while spitting in the face of those of us who paid for their children to be born in a real hospital, and go to good schools etc..., all the while demanding they be given "equality" in the US, while waving the flag of another country. As far as I am concerned, even the right to assemble in protest belongs to citizens, not illegals.
I honestly can't imagine how it is that someone who defies the laws of the nation they entered illegally, doesn't pay taxes, etc... can even begin to think that they are entitled to any of the benefits that being a lawful member of that nation gives you. It must be either immense stupidity that precludes the ability to understand the situation, or unbelievable, unearned arrogance. I can't decide between the two.

because of a misconception when an immigrant applies legally through the proper Chanel's and is documented they have rights. however an illegal alien that crosses the boarder without permission enters the us that ILLEGAL ALIEN is and can be considered a combatant and therefore forfeits citizen rights and should be rebelled against and removed immediately

Romeo.

You making a statement doesn't mean it's true. If an illegal alien tells border patrol there's no such thing as an illegal alien, what do you think their response will be?? "Oh, I'm sorry sir, I didn't know...you're free to go"? Yeah, right!!!

This is the year 2007. Every country in the world has the right to enforce its border and immigration laws, and the U.S. is no exception. Here's a link to how another country treats ITS illegal aliens. Perhaps we should do the same, and really give "pros" something to complain about.

Politicians who are supposed to work for the voter have let us down. The liberal media protrays them as the poor down cast Mexcian but when they riot and burn down Hollywood the hollywood crowd may have a different point of view.

Which rights and privileges are you speaking of?

I'm not an illegal immigrant, but I'm pretty sure illegal immigrants are motivated by a desire to make a decent living and/or the opportunity to live in a free society. I don't hear about many illegals sneaking over the border so they can vote in the next presidential election.

I hate to speak for millions of people I don't know, I think it's fair to say that illegal immigrants aren't looking for the rights and privileges granted to a citizen, just the rights and privileges granted to legal immigrants, tourists, international students, etc.

Whether that's right or wrong is subject to debate. Whether you are accurately reporting their sense of entitlement is not.

Dr. Illegal & Proud!
You must be proud of the Beltway Sniper, John Lee Malvo, and the child molester/cop killer Juan Leonardo Quintero, and the wife beater/gun runner/flasher/cop killer Ezeiquiel Lopez, since you brag that being a criminal is something to be proud of.

response
I never made such a claim.

Sicktop, nice rhetoric, but the point the illegals are making by being illegal is it's up to U.S. citizens to make them legal, meaning people should have rights to migrate, so they can make a better living.

It's immoral to want the illegals to earn less money in Mexico, and then to expect me to send my $$$ to the 3rd World. That's mean. Share the land.

Sicktop, you are right to say that U.S. citizens have paid for everything because any government has to balance the books but you are not right to suggest that U.S. citizens by virtue of being born in the U.S. have earned anything.
