>>I'm only asking this becasue I believe it's just a simple question. You don't have to answer if you don't want to. I understand some women think that men may judge them or look at them different if they know their weight but all men aren't like that...<<
No, not all men are like that, but it's usually their experience that the ones that do ask them there weight are like that. The only reason someone(other then a physician, personal trainer, and the like) would want to know something like that IS to make a judgment about the person they are asking based on the info they will give. It's not something that you really need to know about a person, so don't ask.

You have to understand that probably something like 90% of all women are not satisfied with their weight, no matter how big or small they are. Imagine that you have a small penis and a women walked up to you and asked, "do you have a tiny dick?" You would either lie or be very embarrassed answering the question. This is close to what it's like for women, because they already think their weight is an issue before you bring it up. So unless you actually need to know, (survey, medical reasons, etc.) just don't ask. Good luck.

Because society put a lot of pressure on women to look a certain way and 97 % of women can't meet the society standards. This affects women self esteem.
Asking about the weight is not very nice because it reminds women they are not meeting the society standards and it may mean the man asking is only interested in the body shape not the soul of the person.

I think it is inappropriate because women feel that you should not need to know and they think by asking this question you will judge what kind of person they are on their weight. For most women they would think that you only like them if their answer is acceptable to you. Weight is a personal matter for most women. Women will tell you their weight if they wish you to know.

It is inappropriate to ask a womans weight for many reasons. She may have a complex regarding it. It also makes you sound like you are more interested in her size and what she looks like rather than the person she is inside.

Some women hate being short. They see a lot of women their age who are tall and they think, "Oh, I wish I was tall like them." Or they might be short for some reason that is personal to them. Sometimes it's not inappropriate to ask a woman about her height... but just to be safe, don't ask...

Women of every shape and size are insecure about their weight and don't really want to talk about it. Of course, some men are also.
It's just one of those personal questions you shouldn't ask someone because she might get offended. She wouldn't tell you the truth anyway. ;)

Because us woman are sensitive beings and we are deeply offended.
Truthfully because society has made us this way. You ask a woman about her weight and she will think god he thinks i am fat.
Some men like big woman as some like skinny.
All i can say is if you are big and want to be admired go on a fat admireres site you will be loved as there would be for skinny woman.

Why do you need to know someone's weight? Women are very sensitive about this. Some women are sensitive about their age. Men, and even other women, have made so many women doubt theirselves because of their size. People don't want to be judged, whether they are 130 pounds, or 330 pounds.

I believe woman have always been pressured about their appearance from childhood. Magazines such as sweet 16, cosmo, teen beat reveal models and actresses that are thin. During adolescence large children are teased and addressed as" fat ". Asking a woman about there weight is interpreted as an insult about there size.
