Out playing sand volleyball at the river this weekend and didn't think I needed sunscreen on my stomach. You be surprised how hot mid October can be in Texas, 92 degrees today. Whats the best thing for a sunburn itch? Its driving me crazy.

NO BUTTER AND NO HOT WATER! Do not put heat and salt on burns and butter is full of salt!

Some things you may have lying around the house maybe; noxema face cream? Neosporin? Vaseline? and if you have a store open at this hour (walgreens?) call and see if they carry Benadryl spray or lotion. I got mine at Costco pharmacy but I doubt there is a Costco open at this hour.

This stuff worked INSTANTLY on my burn from Labor Day vacation! Just do not fall asleep on your stomach right after you spray yourself. Peeling yourself off your sheets is no fun!

EDIT: don't take internal Benadryl with the Benadryl spray....

take and aspirn first of all to help with the pain, then you need to apply aloe vera gel, I would use the stuff with litacaine because this will help with the pain also. DRINK a lot of fluids. When your skin is burned the moisture is sucked out of it and you need to replenish it! Also try to keep clothing and material off of it, this will keep it from being irritated! ALSO stay out of the sun and heat or you'll just add "salt to the wound".

Best of luck, this always works for me, my DR gave me this advice and I've also read it in many health magazines and web sites!

The best treatment you can give burns is Aleo vera.
If you have the plant , apply the slimy pulp to the affcted areas.
If you do not have the plant buy aleo vera cream for burns.
Aleo vera not alny cools and soothes the burnt areas, it has rejuvenating properties and so the skin heals faster.

you might try benadryl internally for the itching. Aloe comes in big bottles at walmart. Keep putting the aloe on the burn. Don't expect to keep the skin. Looks like you will probably loose it.
