A friend's six year old daughter will be serving as a flower girl at her sister's wedding tomorrow. Is this legal? Someone said that she was too old and I am afraid that the wedding will be raided by the State Police. That's the last thing we need!!!
If raided, will the six year old be breaking the law or the couple getting married? Or does the liability fall on the wedding planner? Or perhaps the girl's parents? Please help!!

There is no legal age limit. She could be 106 years old and still be perfectly legal as a flower girl.

Are you kidding? Of course there isn't an age limit for a flower girl in a wedding, and the police have far too much crap on their hands then breaking up a wedding with a 6 year old flower girl.

She's SIX?!??!?! Might as well just wave a banner saying "ILLEGAL **** COMMENCING!!!".
If you have enough alcohol, you MAY have enough time to get her to Mexico and teach her to mule drugs. Obviously, the police only rarely shoot at those people
If you have no alcohol, she's gone for. They will either snipe her where she stands, or lynch her at a later date, depending on how good the food is at your wedding. Police (even State patrol) are easily tempted/sidetracked by food, especially desserts of the pastry persuasion. Keep these on hand.
That won't have her from the lynching, mind you, but it MAY help you to avoid the bloodspatter that NEVER comes out and will make returning her dress impossible.

for my area, i think of the best age for a flower lady is between 5 and 9 years previous, provide or take looking on relationship to the lady and the lady's character. i does not bypass a lot older, regardless of the shown fact that, and nonetheless call her a flower lady - i exchange right into a flower lady in my (a lot) older sister's wedding ceremony while i exchange into 11 and area of me exchange into insulted that I wasn't a bridesmaid. (We did not precisely have Jr. Bridesmaids back then.) btw, congrats on your marriage!

is this answer for real i think state police have more to worry about than busting your wedding. My flower girls was like 10 so OMG the police might come after me?????? give me a break whoever told you that is full of it and so are you for believing it

People do not get arrested for being a certain age and a flower girl.
6 yrs old is just about perfect age.
This really has to be a joke, right, I can not believe that anyone would really think like you do and not be a joke.

I've never heard of a wedding being raided... unless you are some sorta drug cartel....

They'll burst in through the windows of the chapel and drag the 6 year old out in handcuffs. It's a horrible scene. She'll likely get tossed into juvie for it too.

i sure hope you're not serious. there is no such thing as a legal age for a flower girl in the states. she can be 2 or 200.
