" Is 8 Track perilously close to conversion?"
Now, I admit that I hang out in R/S ....alot. But she seems to think that I somehow losing my atheist edge. Usually, if someone says something like this to me, I just laugh it off. But here's the problem, she is a Psychologist, like someone else I know, and she is pretty smart on top of that. But, she is a Catholic, and maybe just trying to make me crazy. I would really like to hear from those who know me, or have read my questions or answers, what do you think? Is 8 Track on the highway to hebbin?

You do realize that if you're assimilated by the collective, we'll have to kill you for your own good... ;-)

Holy flock 8 Track, if you are going to take the plunge and convert, for Pete's sake at least do it right and become a Pagan! You're half way there anyway!
Don't make me rap you on the knuckles with a ruler while wearing a black and white habit and a crucifix swinging from my neck to convince you!

She's just trying to psyche' ya', 8 Track. Never give in to the Dark Side. If nothing else, you've a reputation to uphold.

Perilously? She makes it sound like it would be a bad thing. That sounds like a psychologist's trick to me.
I always thought you were Agnostic, though, so there may be some truth to her observation that I've already picked up on. Sorry to have to break it to you, dude.

Ahhhh, but 8Track, the question on ALL of our minds is just exactly WHAT are you on the verge of being converted INTO? Personaly, I can visualize you bowing before a giant plate of pasta and calling forth the FSM. RAMEN, brother.

Well 8tm.. I have noticed you are a little mellow in your responses lately... There is this sort of stigmata thingy.. a glowign sor tof light arounf your avitar... of course, I am sensitive to this sort of thing after I have been drinking red wine.. but never the less.. you do seem a little...... right sided if I can put it that way. Perhaps you need a good rogering..

I haven't read a lot of your answers or questions, and I can't judge you. But if your last sentence is any thing to go by, I would say no. Sorry wife of 8track, I hope I am wrong.
Or was that a typing error

Honestly, I think that being on Y/A has probably allowed you to heal a bit, cathartic-ly speaking, and you are able to embrace your natural spirituality without as many reservations these days. She is probably noticing that change. I don't think it has anything to do with converting to religion. But you knew that, you silly. ;-)
Edit: Yeah, what furiousblue said!!!

Your wife is madly in love with you, so in one sense you are already in heaven!
But in the other sense, I agree with your wife - 8 Track is ON track!
