For example, yesterday I was talking to my older sister and I said, 'The trire tacks...'

I meant to say 'the tire tracks' but I got the 'r' from tracks mixed in next to the 't' in tire.

And another time, I said, 'My clogged are getting pores.'

I meant to say, 'My pores are getting clogged.'

There are lots of other examples of that happening when I'm speaking...it only happens sometimes though.

I get frustrated and irritated with myself cause all the words I want to say and know what I want to say get mixed up.

Why is that?

I do that even when I'm talking normally (slowly), and I do that when I talk fast.

I think that happens to all of us at times. I do that when I am nervous, or if I am in a rush. Also, if you have alot going on, you may be speeding up your speech, but your brain is not keeping up with that speed. I heally rope yiss thelps hou! :-)

age has zero to do with it, it is a unsolved speech thing, you are okay, we all do it for different reasons, thinking to fast and your mouth just shoots things out in mixed up ways. I also do that sometimes, like this I look at a person like a sister and I call her our kids name and I swear they couldn't be more different, that is a mix up that gets on my nerves when it happens, don't worry just have fun with it and say more wrong things to cover it up and laugh, okay

I do this sometimes and it is a form of dyslexia , like reading letters mixed up.

Have you ever been tested for dyslexia? I'm dyslexic myself, and I do that all the time.
