"Dating"? Or "having sexual intercourse"? Please.

The Canada laws are much more detailed, but in general "missionary" sex age of consent is 14 - but the partner should not be more than five years older. There is a change pending to move that bottom number to 16.

In any case, certain more stringent clauses apply, such as the statute outlawing anal intercourse under 18.

The link below includes a table of age of consent from around the world, and should provide excellent reading.

No. I dated a 20 300 and sixty 5 days previous at sixteen, that's legal additionally. although i does no longer advise it! Having been the two 17 and 20, the two are at completely distinctive tiers in life, and attitude. Get a effective 18 300 and sixty 5 days previous... legal age of consent is 14. Statutory rape rates may well be delivered against anybody 4 years older than that man or woman, as much as the age of 18. Your guy isn't a minor (18 years in Canada), and is basically 3 years older than you.

How would you distinguish between a date and a non-date? Would a non-date meeting be illegal? Both involve the two people meeting and the activities, such as having lunch could be similar. Would having lunch be illegal?

Most people could be considered guilty if that were the law and massive arrests would have to be made.

Dont know much about Canadian law but in Australia the law states that they must be at least 18 {for both male and female} to have sex but there is nothing wrong with dating IF they dont do anything else but date.
