I like how a lot of people automatically write nerds off as dorky guys with glasses and pocket protectors. I'm a self proclaimed nerd. I know how to work on a car and program in Python, Ruby, ,and C++. I work out(have a great body) and still can set up a web server. I go to parties and hang out with friends yet I still get on my comp and play games for hours(BF2, Halo2) on end. Its all about how you balance it. Oh and yes beautiful girls can love nerds, I'm living proof.

Absolutely if you have a great sense of humour and fun to be with i'm positive it would happen
as we are all aware of looks are only skin deep it's whats inside that counts
plus who is to say a beautiful smart girl may not be so beautiful to someone else

Yes she could, she usually won't say anything though b/c she is afraid of the "wrath" she would get from her "friends", which typically only happens with students. Almost everyone outgrows that stage though.
But for a simple answer -- YES it happens all the time
