God does not require blood of his own son to forgive our sins.
God is merciful enough to forgive if a person repents.
Jesus is not son of God, he came to convey the message of God not to die death of curse.

It is wonderful to know that our sins are forgiven, and at the same time shouldn't we also carefully for the glory of God walk differently from one who has not had their sins forgiven as a testimony of Christ work in our lives. What a difference it would make to the world. We should demonstrate love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, self-control as christians in our lives to the world that they would see a difference in us and desire those attributes in their life and seek Christ. This is not easy unless we walk in the Spirit of God so we will not fullfill the lust of the flesh. Sinning is a big issue in the life of a Christian. May God convict us so that the world will see Christ in us the hope of glory.

Your question is why some people do not believe. One it seems to simple, two they are not ready to surrender to God. Three they think God is some big judge waiting to send them to hell and does not care about measly them. Five they really do not understand or beleive the God Grace is really sufficient to cover our sins with Jesus blood one and for all forever. We see only in part but God sees the whole picture begginning to end. So it comes down to if you believe it or not. Is there a God, Yes I believe there is. Who do people call on in emergency even if they consider themselves aiethiest but God. I know God is bigger than what I think or feel. He really loves me and forgives me for my sins even if I do not feel forgiven. He sees my mistakes, hears my words, smiles down on me from heaven and is proud of what I will become and overlooks the mistakes of today and yesterday.
I believe in a loving God who although we do not understand his ways most of the time and get angry when things do not go our way He still is there to love us through the rough and the joyous times.

Rom. 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
5:4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
5:7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Boy, we could really have a lot to talk about! Look up and explain the meaning of this:' Thus says the LORD" Get thine house in order, prepare to die. You shall not recover" I have a bunch more memorized. Vaya on DIOS, muchacha. OK dude, be nice: Mathew 7.1-4 Judge not lest you shall be judged. For GOD shall judge you with the same measure with the same measure you use to judge others.

Why do you think death row inmates "find Jesus/religion/God" not too long before their planned date of death?
That aside, it is great that forgiveness is available whenever it's needed. It helps people sleep at night, too, but I think it makes whatever little wrong deicision we make and the consequences that much more bearable.

Actually, Christ pays the price only if we repent and don't keep repeating the sin(s). If we continue to sin and expect Him to save us over and over and over again, then we are mocking Him and will end up paying for our own sins in the end. Part of repentance is CHANGE (becoming pure of heart, clean hands, etc.) and not sinning again. We have to do our part before Christ will do his.
He saved us all from physical death as a free gift and we will all be resurrected and live again. But saving us from spiritual death is conditional on our true repentance.
Keep living the good life!!

Jesus said you must repent, and that involves more than just asking for forgiveness. What did he say to the woman caught in the act of adultery? He said, "Go and sin no more." I didn't say that, Jesus said it.

Great. Let the raping and murdering begin!
Just ask for forgiveness and everything's ok?
Doesn't that sound just the slightest bit ridiculous? Otherwise virtuous people who don't believe are supposedly fire-bait while 'saved' serial killers like Jeffrey Dahmer are playing ping-pong in heaven.
