it makes them happy. if some Christian wants me to tease them so they can feel all piously long suffering i'll accommodate them. i mean ... ya gotta kinda feel sorry for American Christians. being the majority religion, the top of the social heap, it's hard for them to find real persecution so they have to make do with on-line martyrdom. pathetic, really, but hey! it's all they got.

you're top, in the adventure that they do no longer have the dominance over issues, then they see it as persecution. If the different faith receives the spotlight for a second, they offer idea to that to be persecution. in the adventure that they are not allowed to push their beliefs, they offer idea to that to be persecution. As for sending them to Muslim international locations, i have been there, and they are not persecuted there contained in the way the West would imagine. They stay aspect by technique of aspect there with Muslims. Christians ought to make friends with human beings of alternative religions. enable those human beings tell the Christians what that is extremely like. enable those Christians easily witness a Muslim's existence, a Jew's existence, a Buddhist's existence, etc.

I get a chuckle over how when other's argue with Christianity, they use it as proof that their faith is true, but when they pull out the big guns against other faiths...that persecution doesn't count.
It's like a pair of thick glasses, brings everything into focus but only in one direction. They don't know how small their eyes look to those on the outside.

You take away one reason and they will find another. They can never be convinced that they are not under persecution. If they aren't , then their belief is they won't get to heaven or at least they won't be rewarded. They think god will find them worthy if they are persecuted. So, in essence, you are fighting a losing battle.

You call THIS little discussion board persecution? Tis to laugh.
Read Foxe's Book of Martyrs, then tell me if anyone, anywhere could possibly find the gnats that fly around here the least bit bothersome.

Bashing? Is that what they are calling it now a days? The words change but the reasons remain the same

I'm with notfooled on this one. I've been a christian in Iraq. I've been shot at, beat up, and left for dead. This online thing? I aint bleeding. And even if I were, I haven't bled out. I serve a King that bled out. And still got back up.

yeah i am aware. sometimes i get frustrated, i am not perfect. that's not too often though, and i don't care so much what they think if they can't tell the difference between disagreement and persecution.

I don't do it, well not usually. I will definately debate or disagree, but I usually don't bash. I think I might when they down right attack me or spew false porpaganda regarding Atheists.
