Well...do most heterosexuals want a monogamous relationship?
Look at the divorce rates in this country. Hell, look at the divorce rates globally.
It's an individual's preference, not something that is decided by sexual orientation or even really by gender. Everyone has different likes, dislikes, interests, and emotions.

Statistically, about the same percentage of homosexuals want monogamy as heterosexuals -- and about the same percentage want a monogamous life-partner (spouse) for both heterosexuals and homosexuals.
Sexual orientation doesn't change any of the other basic human psychological functions. And desire for monogamy -- either short term or long term -- is independent of sexual orientation.
But you also seem to have homosexuals confused with pedophiles -- pedofiles find children sexually attractive -- homosexuals find adults of the same gender sexually attractive -- there is almost no overlap.

OK, let do an analysis:
Homosexuals are mainly on the liberal side of politics/life philosophy, right?
...and that philosophy, for the most part, "liberated", "freer" says that "it is OK" to be more promiscuous, free sex, etc...right?
..so as a consequence, just by logic you can tell that many homosexuals are very promiscuous, and behavior points to that fact here in NY for example..
...so the bull*** that homosexuals are just like any other people, even more middle of the road people or conservatives when it comes to sex is just that, a load of bull***!
...they are very promiscuous, example is the AIDS epidemic, traced to a homosexual that brought it in to the US in 1977 (watch documentary on it) and due to the homosexual community been so promiscuous, it spread rapidly!
