There are 5 Washington Mutuals in my city. How do I relocate to a WAMU where my friend works?

I would say to walk in and ask them. They do those kinds of arrangments all the time.

But Im not sure if it matters that much either. Join any wamu and its the same even if you walk into your friends wamu to do business.

By the way, I would NOT tell them that is why you want to switch to it. It might get your friend watched really really close

if you have an account with WaMu you can use any that you want. However your friend should NOT be waiting on you, that is actually against WaMu policy and if your friend's boss finds out she will get fired.
